ABSOFT™ 25mm Thermo Fleece is then used within suitable cavities and behind interior panels to provide additional sound absorption and thermal insulation, helping create a quieter and more comfortable vehicle interior.

HOW TO INSTALL

Layer 1 – PeaceMAT XR

Clean and degrease the vehicle's metal surface thoroughly. Cut the PeaceMAT XR sheets as required, remove the release liner and apply directly to the metal.

Press firmly into place, preferably using a sound-deadening roller to ensure good contact and remove trapped air.

PeaceMAT XR does not necessarily need to cover every square centimetre of the vehicle. It can be strategically applied to large flat panels where vibration and resonance are greatest. Your current site recommends approximately 60–80% coverage on walls and doors, with greater coverage on floors and wheel arches. Car Insulation UK

Layer 2 – ABSOFT 25mm

Cut the ABSOFT thermo fleece to fit the required cavities and interior areas. Install it behind suitable trim and lining panels to provide additional thermal and acoustic insulation.

ABSOFT can be secured using suitable contact adhesive, double-sided tape or mechanical fixing methods depending on the application. Car Insulation UK
