PeaceMAT XR is installed first, directly onto the vehicle's metal panels. Hydroweld is then fitted as the secondary insulation layer. This layered approach combines vibration damping with acoustic and thermal insulation for improved interior comfort.

Installation

For best results, clean and degrease the vehicle metal before installation.

Layer 1 – PeaceMAT XR: Cut to size, remove the backing paper and apply the 2mm butyl mat directly to the clean metal surface. Apply firm pressure; using an application roller will help achieve good contact.

Layer 2 – Hydroweld: Cut the Hydroweld to the required shape and install it over the treated area as the secondary acoustic and thermal insulation layer.

This follows the same general layered principle recommended for PeaceMAT XR on your existing product pages: vibration-damping material against the vehicle metal, followed by an insulation layer.
